Take a glimpse of Wakkanai’s history at the Former Seto Family House.
The former residence of a seabed trawler owner that was built in 1952.
The elaborate details of the tea room, transom windows and ceiling boards are well worth seeing,
and convey the vestiges of the period when the trawling industry prospered.
It is a registered tangible cultural property of Japan.
