The wooden building of this popular secluded station, which opened in 1924, remains as it existed at the time,
and is known as the shooting location for the “Antarctica” and “Sakura Guardian in the North” movies, as well as the TV drama “Shojo ni naniga okottaka” (What happened to the girl).
