The film Sakura Guardian in the North, starring Sayuri Yoshinaga, features this area as it was around 1945.
This area was used as a shooting location for the film,
and much of the decoration and design used in the film have been preserved for display here.
Be sure to stop by the Dobutsu Fureai Land Petting Zoo across the way, which is home to famous dogs that have appeared in movies.
